On July 03, 2023, a meeting was held between the executive director of BASEL, Orlin Dimitrov, MEng and the rector of "Angel Kanchev" University in Ruse, academician Hristo Beloev. The dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation, associate professor Dr. Vyara Ruseva, as well as all heads of departments in this faculty took part in the talks.
Issues and proposals for closer cooperation between business and science were discussed, as well as ways to restore the prestige of the engineering profession.
