Investor.bg's first energy event will be held at Inter Expo Center
What will be the energy of the future, what is the solution for energy efficiency, green and clean energy and what are the alternative forms of energy supply and trading of energy sources? These will be some of the topics of focus in the first edition of the Energy of Tomorrow specialized event on the leading economic site Investor.bg, part of the Investor Media Group. It will be held on April 20 at 2 p.m. at the Inter Expo Center (Vitosha Hall) in Sofia. The audience will be representatives of large and medium-sized businesses, representatives of companies from the sector, consultants, CFO managers of large companies, municipalities and technology companies.
The Energy of Tomorrow event will be officially opened by a representative of the Ministry of Energy, followed by an exclusive conversation with the Secretary General of the European Association of the Electricity Industry Eurelectric – Christian Ruby.
The first panel will be on the topic "Green energy and regulations" and will be moderated by the energy expert Ralitsa Nikolova, and the participants in the conversation will be Assoc. Dr. Atanas Georgiev - dean, head of the department "Economics and Management by Branches" and director of the Master's program "Energy Markets and Services" at the Faculty of Economics of the University of St. Kliment Ohridski", Prof. Dr. Ivan Ivanov - Chairman of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR), Martin Vladimirov - expert on energy security of Europe and the Balkans, energy transition, alternative energy technologies and geopolitical dimensions of energy and financial markets at the Center for the Study of Democracy (CID), Tsvetelina Penkova - MEP from the Group of Socialists and Democrats. During the specialized discussion, the experts will discuss the programs and incentives for building energy capacities, the price of electricity, the regulatory framework and its adaptation for business in our country. Other topics to be discussed are the power purchase agreement, or so-called PPA contract, and long-term green energy contracts, as business opportunities.
"Innovations and energy efficiency" is the second panel of the event, which will be attended by Karel Karl - CEO of "Electrohold Bulgaria", Konstantin Kirov - head of the "Environmental Protection and Green Projects" department at "ProCredit Bank", Dimitar Dimitrov - executive director of "Alterco" AD, and Radoslav Koshkov - service business "Schneider Electric". The moderator of the panel will be Boycho Popov - the editor-in-chief of Investor.bg, and the topics to be analyzed will be about digitization as a driving force for a future with zero emissions, the possibilities of energy storage and transmission, technological solutions for energy efficiency and financing of green energy projects.
The final panel of Energy of Tomorrow will be on "Good practices - Green energy parks at the service of business". Delyana Petkova - energy editor Investor.bg, will be the moderator in the final business discussion, and participants and representatives from business will be Martin Katinov - manager of "Energy Projects" at "Aurubis Bulgaria", Remzi Ingilizov - deputy. manager of Ingiliz Group, and Dragomir Ivanov - founder and executive director of "Hidrogenera". The conversation between the experts will be focused on energy intensity, green energy parks in the service of business and own RES parks.
