On April 20, 2023, an event of the Taiwan Council for the Development of Foreign Trade (TAITRA), which is part of a trade mission of Taiwanese companies to Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland and Romania, was held in Sofia. Bulgarian companies had the opportunity to meet 18 Taiwanese companies from the following sectors: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, hardware, textiles, medical technology, food industry.
The executive director of BASEL, dipl. Eng. Orlin Dimitrov, discussed with the representative for Bulgaria in the regional office of TAITRA in Ankara, Ms. Ting Liu, the potential for the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries in the field of the electrical industry.
