The British Bulgarian Business Association (BBBA) in partnership with the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and the Manufacturer, is organising a trade mission to the biggest manufacturing event in the UK – Smart Manufacturing and Engineering Week. Join us for one of the most vibrant events in Birmingham, the British capital of manufacturing, where change-makers can find insights, solutions & connections for their manufacturing & engineering projects.

Smart Manufacturing & Engineering Week returns in June 2024 and is designed to help support the sector in all stages of their smart manufacturing and engineering journeys.

Brimming with expert content, valuable peer to peer interaction and the best products and services available, it is the largest UK festival of advanced manufacturing and engineering of the year, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in hardware and software and solutions to the current industry challenges being faced.

Smart Manufacturing & Engineering Week is the UK’s leading festival with advanced manufacturing, with a total of nine shows within the festival: 

Along with the visit to Smart Manufacturing & Engineering Week, BBBA will invite the delegates to Global Business Conference organised by the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, and after hour drinks with their community. The agenda of the trade mission also includes a business event with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

This event is for you if: 

  • You manage a manufacturing business and want to learn the latest innovations you could implement
  • You manage a manufacturing business and want to develop your partners network in the UK
  • You manage a tech company which can be a trusted partner in digitising manufacturing businesses, and are willing to develop our network in the UK

1 pm - Lunch with local business leaders before opening of the Global Business Conference

2 pm -  Attendance at Global Business Conference

5 pm - Drinks in honor of the Bulgarian delegation

All day attendance at the Smart Manufacturing & Engineering Week. Choose among nine shows at the festival:
