On 29.06.2026, a round table "Business and Education in Technology Industries - Prospects and Challenges in the Shumen Region" was held.
The event was attended by the regional governor of Shumen, representatives of local business and educational institutions. The forum discussed the state and prospects for business and investments in the Shumen region, opportunities for integrating science, education, innovation and business, labor market trends and dual education.
The forum was organized by the Bulgarian Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (BASEL) in partnership with the Shumen Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, Bulgarian Chamber of Industry - Mechanical Engineering, National Association of Bulgarian Forwarders, Center for Modern Economy and Development and Institute of Robotics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
