On 05.08.2024, at the NIKDIM factory in Kazanlak, the Bulgarian Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (BASEL), together with the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria (BICA) and the Center for Testing and European Certification (CTEC) EOOD held a free seminar on OSH, financed by the "Working Conditions" Fund of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

The aim of the project is that through training in the field of health and safety at work, the responsible personnel of industrial companies will acquire basic knowledge, motivation and skills for organizing and carrying out a complex of activities to bring the enterprises into compliance with the Law on Health and Safety of labor (OSL) and related regulations in Bulgaria. The application of these knowledge and skills is in accordance with the requirements of Art. 30 of the ZZBUT, according to which the representatives in the committees and groups on working conditions must be trained according to programs, rules and requirements determined by an ordinance of the Minister of Labor and Social Policy and the Minister of Health.

After completion of the training, BICA issued certificates for completed training, which upon inspection are required by the authorities of the Main Labor Inspectorate. The fulfillment of this obligation is an important condition for improving the production organization of any enterprise and increasing its competitiveness.
