On March 30, 2023, for the 17th time in a row, a solemn ceremony was held to present the annual awards of the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BAI) "Investor of the Year 2022". BAI awards are presented to highlight and encourage the investment projects with the most significant contribution in the various spheres of the Bulgarian economy, realized in 2022. The special guest of the ceremony was the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, who presented the grand prize "Investor of the Year " of "Alcomet" JSC. After the official ceremony, the executive director of BASEL, dipl. Eng. Orlin Dimitrov, who took part in the presidential delegation to the Czech Republic in April 2022, had the opportunity to briefly inform the head of state about the importance of the electrical industry for the Bulgarian economy and exports.
