On 26.10.2023, at the initiative of the Bulgarian Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (BASEL), a business breakfast was held with the participation of the head of the commercial department at the Embassy of Germany in Sofia, Mr. Moritz Seiler.
Representatives of the Industrial Cluster "Electromobili" and the Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies also took part in the meeting.
Important highlights of the discussion were the development of bilateral economic relations against the background of the consequences for the German economy caused by the crises in Ukraine and Israel, as well as the missed benefits for Bulgaria due to the delay in the absorption of funds under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRSP).
The questions about the need to improve the image of Bulgaria as an investment destination and a technically literate nation were also touched upon.
